San Francisco Police MISSION STATIONFrom The Desk of Captain Moser
Commanding Officer Greetings to everyone in the Mission District. As the newly appointed Captain of Mission Station, I look forward to meeting and collaborating with the residents and merchants in this District to ensure your safety. The officers and command staff at Mission Station, led incomparably by Captain Greg Corrales have demonstrated over the years an outstanding work ethic and true commitment to making this a safe area for all of you. Together, we will continue and build upon that tradition of community policing. As a native San Franciscan, I am truly honored and delighted to serve in our culturally rich, diverse and vibrant District where not only I, but my parents too, grew up. Born at Saint Luke’s Hospital, I graduated from Saint Phillip Grammar School in Noe Valley and then, for four years, commuted on a streetcar from Castro Station every day to attend High School. In 1995, I began my career with the SFPD and I have worked at several district stations including Southern, Tenderloin, Central and, my most recent assignment, Bayview. I also served as the Officer in Charged of the Management Control Division (Internal Affairs) for three years. At Mission, I will value your input, ideas and suggestions regarding keeping the Mission District safe and welcoming, and improving communication. Captain Robert Moser |
