Victim was driving S/B on Mission Street when she accidently hit a stray dog that wandered into the street.  When she got out to investigate a suspect had entered her vehicle stealing her cell phone and violin.  A citizen had volunteered to take the dog to the vet hospital.  The victim filed a police reported when she realized what had happened.  A few days passed and with the help of Mission Investigators, the victim found her violin in a local pawn shop nearby and was recovered.  Case # 120464077

A Mission Unit on patrol stopped a bicycle rider without the proper safety lights for night time riding.  The bicyclist was transported to Mission Station for identification purposes.  After asking the bicyclist several questions he finally gave his real name which Officers then were able to identify him by his police record.  The suspect was cited and released for various misdemeanor offenses.  Case # 120464152
